Caterpillar MOTOR GRADER 16M3 - catalog of spare parts

The 16M3 motor grader will have a direct impact on the performance and cost of the mine. The transport road is either the largest asset of the mine, or the biggest responsibility. When roads are in good condition, trucks live longer and run faster. Good road conditions are key to extending the life of a truck, reducing maintenance costs, reducing fuel costs and reducing tire damage, resulting in shorter cycle times and more ore at lower costs. 16M3 is ideal for:

Mining of small and medium size, which transported 150 tons or less trucks.

As a supplement to the 24 m grader park in large mining operations where additional versatility is required for building and cleaning ditches and berms, servicing secondary narrower roads or working on side / coastal slopes.

16M3 includes features that provide great benefits in reducing operating costs, improving uptime and productivity, and improving safety.

Choose MOTOR GRADER 16M3 section:

REDUCTION OF OPERATIONAL COST

High mechanical availability is one of your main concerns. 16M3 helps reduce downtime and operating costs by improving serviceability, saving fuel and reducing maintenance costs. The main components are modular, so most of them can be removed and reinstalled without interfering with other components.

• Use less fuel - the C13 engine with ACERT ™ technology has been optimized for maximum efficiency without sacrificing performance. In addition, engine fuel economy (ECO) mode can be activated to control high idle speed and maximize engine efficiency in terms of fuel consumption, which provides additional fuel savings.

• Designed for maximum performance and service life. The shift of the central part of the front frame is made of high-strength steel casting, which improves the stress distribution in this area of high load to increase the service life. The rear frame design is extended to provide easy access for servicing components in the engine cover, as well as to improve the balance of the machine. The front axle steering cylinder was designed to increase durability, and hydraulic hoses are routed to increase reliability.

• Ease of maintenance — A modular cooling package simplifies the removal and installation of cooling system components, which reduces maintenance time. The engine compartment doors provide full and easy access to the engine without any obstacles to the rack. In addition, extended maintenance intervals reduce touch and downtime.

• Protecting your property — from Good to Start — and critical fluid level monitoring systems help prevent damage to critical components when there is a low liquid level. All information is available via the in-cab information display, and diagnostic codes are recorded.

IMPROVED EFFICIENCY AND COMFORT OPERATOR

You measure the profitability of the ore you produce, and the more effectively you do it, the more successful you are. While drilling, draglines, loaders and dump trucks are responsible for mining ore, motor graders directly affect the performance of these machines, in particular, their role in road maintenance.

• Machine balance - the extra weight along with the adjusted weight balance provides improved performance for the 16M3 by improving traction and the ability to maintain travel speed, especially when carrying heavy loads.

• Simple, operator-friendly emissions technology - the 16M3 is available with three C13 engine options with ACERT ™ technology. One meets US EPA Tier 4 Final / EU Stage IV / Japan 2014 emission standards (Tier 4 Final) and will be required for sale in countries with higher levels of regulation. Other options will meet equivalent Tier 2 / State II / Japan 2001 (Tier 2) or Tier 3 / Tier IIIA / Japan 2006 (Tier 3) emission standards and are available for sale in less or non-regulated countries, depending on the country’s emission standards. . The emission reduction technology on the 16M3 grader is designed to be transparent, without any action from the operator.

• Comfort and control — the multi-color / touch screen information display is the operator`s gateway to monitor machine performance, a convenient way to change machine parameters to adapt performance to the current task and access service information for initial troubleshooting.

• Monitor, manage, and improve on-site work — Cat Product Link ™ Elite is deeply integrated into your machine, helping you to guess the guesses while operating equipment. Easy access to timely information, such as car location, hours of operation, fuel consumption, idle time and event codes, through the VisionLink® online interface will help you manage your fleet efficiently and reduce operating costs.

SECURITY

You consider the safety of your employees a top priority, and we are doing everything we can to help you achieve your safety goals. Caterpillar takes into account the safety of everyone who is on or near Cat equipment when developing new products or improving the safety features of existing products. The 16M3 has many security features, such as, but not limited to:

• tandem access

• Rear View Camera

• Seat belt indication

• Access platform - optional

• Service access platform - optional

• Fire extinguishing system - option
