John Deere AERATOR - catalog of spare parts
The performance of aeration equipment is measured in two ways:
Square feet per hour
Holes per square foot
Aercore ™ models are excellent in both areas. All of these aerators can pull up to 30 cores per square foot. The number of holes per square foot is a variable number based on the ground speed of the tractor. Most competitors try to indicate a large number of square feet per hour.
Aercore ™ 2000, 1500, and 1000 use the same belt drive design for quiet, smooth, lubrication-free operation. A suitable pair of fiberglass-reinforced belts ensures a long service life and requires minimal adjustments.
Even accidental belt changes are simplified by locating all of the belt drive components at the top of the machine, where they are easily accessible. All drive components are easily located for daily checks and routine maintenance. The entire drive unit uses sealed bearings, so there is no need for daily lubrication.
Serviceability is a key issue for aeration equipment, and the Aercore 1000, 1500 and 2000 have the best access to services in the industry. As shown in the photo, with the cover up, access to the drive assembly is easily accessible.
The entire knotted tooth assembly can be removed in minutes by removing one bolt with a head at the upper end and four bolts on the rear frame. Fingers can also be easily replaced from the back of the machine in minutes.
Access to the tooth holders is also from the rear of the machine, which makes it very convenient to change the distance between the holes with another set of tooth holders. Belt changes can be easily made because they are easily accessible.
