ENGINE
The Cat® C27 engine with ACERT® technology complies with US EPA Tier 3 and EU Stage III standards. It features increased power and efficient fuel management for quick response, high performance and exceptional service life. The sculptural cylinder block provides greater strength and less weight.
CONTROLLER OF THE MOMENTAL MOMENT IMPELLER (ICTC) LEFT PEDAL CONTROL
ICTC allows the operator to adjust the traction force on the wheels and slow down the machine without reducing the engine speed. This allows the machine to maintain full hydraulic power to control the blades and steering, which gives the 844H a sense of hydrostaticity, while retaining the advantages of the world`s most efficient and powerful transmission and power shift transmission with a locking system. The torque converter lock-up clutch provides direct drive efficiency in second and third front gears and in all three gears in reverse with higher speeds and improved fuel economy when dosing over long distances.
AUTOMATIC POSITION OF BLADE
This patented system simulates manual operations, automatically lowering the blade when moving the machine forward and lifting it backwards. Settings in which the blade is raised / lowered can be easily adjusted from the operator`s seat.

This new feature will automatically shut off the engine after the machine has been in a safe idle mode for a long time. The operator in the cab will be heard and visually warned before the shutdown occurs.
TORQUE CONVERTER MOMENTS
The torque converter lock-up clutch provides direct drive efficiency in second and third front gears and in all three gears in reverse with higher speeds and improved fuel economy when dosing over long distances.
CONSTRUCTIONS
Combining the use of robotic welding and castings in critical areas with high voltage, more than 90 percent of the machine’s design is subjected to robotic welding, which provides highly consistent welds and increased strength. Castings are also used in several areas to increase strength, helping to distribute the load and reduce the number of parts.
PLANETARY CAT, POWER TRANSMISSION
Electronic switching ensures smooth, consistent switching. Large diameter couplings in combination with four planetary gears provide additional durability and long service life.
HEAVY DUTY AXES
To improve performance, ease of operation and durability, additional oil coolers for axles, universal joints with permanent lubricants and more robust axle components are offered in both differential and main gears.
FINAL DRIVES
Latest gears have a planetary reduction on each wheel. Torque develops on the wheel, which provides a smaller load on the axle shaft. • Patented gear cutting and heat-treated methods are used in production to provide best-in-class reliability and durability.
BRIDGE, SHAFT, OIL BRAKES
These brakes are unregulated, fully hydraulic and fully airtight. The grooves on the ends of the disc provide cooling even when using brakes to increase component life.
The location of the brakes allows for improved serviceability. The design of the axle shaft brakes ensures that the brakes work, leaving the main gear intact.
Shaft axle brakes require less effort when operating on the low torque side of the axle. In combination with improved oil circulation in the axles to increase cooling, the oil housing with several disc brakes increases durability.

The world class cab includes features that provide operator comfort and ergonomics, visibility and ease of use.
The ergonomic controls are fully adjustable and designed for effortless comfort. Switches and controls for various systems are located within operator reach.
Internal noise levels are reduced to a quiet 72 dB (A).
The Cat Monitoring System (EMS-III) provides information on the main components of the machine. This includes fuel level indicators in the tank; engine coolant temperature, torque converter and hydraulic oil temperature sensors; Digital tachometer analogue tachometer sensor for gear selection and travel speed and monitoring system.
Additional features are available to improve visibility. These options include a rear-view camera for precise movement tracking behind the wheel loader and high-intensity discharge (HID) light for better visibility at night.
A standard trainer seat allows you to safely train your operator.
PERFORMANCE

Hinged doors on both sides of the engine compartment provide easy access to the engine oil level gauge and to the spout of the filling port, to the S · O · SSM ports, fuel filters, air conditioner compressor, engine oil filters, alternator, start socket, maintenance indicator air filter, cooler and air starter.

Ecology drains for ease of maintenance and to prevent spills of potential environmental pollutants. Ecological drains are standard for hydraulic systems, engines, transmissions and cooling systems.
