BUCKET GROUND INSTRUMENTS

Choosing the right bucket will determine your loader`s performance. The selection process begins with knowledge of the density of the loaded material. From there, you can choose the size and appropriate protection strategies that will meet the nominal payload goals of your machine. Your Cat dealer can help you customize a bucket or customize a bucket.

HEAVY MANDATORY ROCKY BUCKET

Scopes: face loading of densely condensed pit materials. Moderate abrasion factors and shock loads are suitable for this bucket.

HIGH ABRASION ROCK BUCKET

Scopes: face loading of iron ore. High-abrasive and moderate impact loads are suitable for this bucket. Smooth floors are also desirable.

COAL BUCKET

Application: For coal or other non-abrasive materials of light density.

NOTE. Some applications may be very abrasive. Note that additional bucket protection may affect machine performance due to higher power consumption, higher fuel consumption and reduced performance. With this in mind, it is important that you select the appropriate protection for your application.
