CAT C18 ACERT ENGINE

The Cat C18 ACERT engine is built and tested to meet your most demanding needs. Three CERT ACERT engine options are available on this machine: EPA Tier 4 Final / EU Stage IV technology in the United States, followed by processing, an ACERT equivalent to level 3 engine without additional processing, or an ACERT equivalent to level 2 engine without additional processing.

Fully integrated electronic engine management works in conjunction with the entire machine so that your fuel moves on.

Use less fuel at idle with the engine off at idle.

WHEEL PLANETARY TRANSMISSION

IMPELLER (ICTC) Clutch Torque Converter And RIMPULL (RCS) CONTROL SYSTEM

Reduce your running costs using advanced ICTC and RCS for modulated thrust.

Reduce slippage and tire wear by modulating the thrust from 100 to 25 percent while simultaneously depressing the left pedal. After reaching 25% of the traction effort, the left pedal engages the brake.

Reduce the likelihood of wheel slippage without reducing hydraulic efficiency with RCS.

Improved fuel efficiency in certain applications thanks to our lock-up clutch torque converter for direct drive.

834K created for several lives. To help extend the life of the machine, Caterpillar offers a range of sustainable options, such as our Reman and Certified Rebuild programs. In these programs, reusable or remanufactured components can provide cost savings of 40 to 70 percent, which reduces operating costs.

Caterpillar offers retrofit packages that allow you to use new features on older machines and maximize your resources. And when you complete the Cat Certified Rebuild program, these upgrade kits are part of the recovery process.

Cat blades

Cat blades are resilient, durable and have excellent metering and rolling characteristics.

Capacity and width are set to increase performance.

The design of spreading allows scattering of the coating material, as well as the dosing of heavier loads.

DIRECT BLADE

The straight blade (7.9 m3 / 10.3 yd3) is intended for dispensing products in warehouse materials and general earthworks.

UNIVERSAL BLADE

Universal knife (11.1 m3 / 14.7 yd3) is designed to move large loads over long distances in mining.

SEMI-UNIVERSAL BLADE

The characteristics of straight and universal knives are combined into a semi-universal knife (10.1 m3 / 13.3 yd3). It provides improved performance by adding short wings that only include the end tips of the bulldozer, without sacrificing the expansion characteristics of the straight blades.

COAL BLADE

The coal dump (22.2 m3 / 29 yard 3) is designed for accurate and productive dosing, helping to maintain load control with an increased capacity for lighter materials. The corners of the wings help keep the load during sleep. This blade is available in Cat Work Tool and Services (CWTS).

ASSEMBLIES

Straight, semi-universal and universal blades consist of blades, pushing levers, hydraulic lifting, tip and tilt cylinders, trunnion, stabilizer and hydraulic barriers.

Blocking torque converter - transmits more power to the ground and optimizes fuel efficiency in all applications.

Advanced Electronic Performance Management Strategy (APECS) - All new APECS gearbox controls provide greater momentum on slopes and fuel savings, transferring this momentum through shift points. The configuration of the machine, the operator`s technique and the location of the working platform can affect fuel consumption.
