INCREASE POWER
An increase in power of 21.8% compared with previous models provides unsurpassed thrust during acceleration and less gear on the slope. Improved software and engine technology updates further improve gear shifts and reduce fuel consumption.
WATERCOOLED TURBOCHARGED AND ATAAC
Additional air-to-air cooling provides improved fuel economy by packing the cooler and denser air into the cylinders for more complete combustion of the fuel and lower emissions.
ELECTRONIC BLOCK INJECTION (EUI)
The electronically controlled fuel injection system determines the operating conditions and regulates the fuel supply for optimum fuel efficiency. A proven high-pressure fuel system provides improved response times and more efficient fuel consumption with less emissions and less smoke.
ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULE (ECM)
The ECM uses advanced engine management software to monitor, control and protect the engine using self-diagnosing electronic sensors. The computerized system determines the operating conditions and power requirements, and also adjusts the engine for maximum performance and the most efficient operation at any time.
DESIGN
Caterpillar’s āāone-piece cast iron block provides maximum strength and durability. Two-component articulated pistons with forged steel crowns are designed for higher cylinder pressure.
MECHANICAL ELECTRICAL TRANSMISSION
Cat powertrain and power shift transmissions provide unparalleled performance and control on steep grades, poor conditions under your feet, as well as on roads and drives with high rolling resistance.
TRANSMISSION
The Cat seven-speed planetary gearbox with direct shift and direct injection engine C27 provides consistent power over a wide range of operating speeds. Individual modulation of the clutch ensures smooth engagement of the clutch to optimize performance and extend the service life of the clutch.
CLOSING CONVERTER MOMENT
It combines maximum tractive effort and smooth switching of the drive of the torque converter with the efficiency and efficiency of the direct drive. When the lock is on, excellent power transmission efficiency is achieved by increasing the power at the wheels.
CLOSED COUPLING
Quickly release and re-enable to reduce power train torque for smoother shifting, long service life and a more comfortable ride.
REMOTE TRANSMISSION OIL
Increases cooling capacity in the transmission oil circuit in order to ensure optimum performance during long ascents up the hill.
CAT DATA LINK
Electronically integrates computer-aided computer systems to optimize the overall performance of power transmission, improve the reliability and service life of components, and reduce operating costs.
Controlled throttle shifting — adjusts the engine speed, locks the torque converter, and engages the transmission clutch for smoother shifts and longer component life.
Economy Shift Mode - reduces fuel consumption, reduces noise and potentially increases engine life.
Directional Shift Control - adjusts engine speed to prevent damage caused by changes in direction at high speed.
Body-up Shift Inhibitor - Prevents gear shifts above programmed gears without fully lowering the body.
ELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN (CAT ET)
The Cat ET service tool provides service technicians with easy access to stored diagnostic data through Cat Data Link, which simplifies problem diagnosis and improves accessibility.
SPEED PROTECTION
An automatic deceleration system (ARC) protects the engine against speeding. ARC applies brakes if the following conditions simultaneously exist:
UNSAFE ENGINE SPEED REACHED.
The ARC switch is in the ON or OFF position.
The throttle is pressed by the operator. If the gearbox is in top gear, the locking clutch is disengaged to protect the engine from over-speeding the engine.
INTEGRATED BRAKE SYSTEM
The Cat oil-cooled brake system provides reliable performance and control in the most extreme conditions of underground mining. The integrated system combines service, secondary, parking brakes and braking functions in one reliable system for optimal braking performance.
OIL COOLED BY SEVERAL DISC BRAKES
Four-wheel multidisk service brakes with forced oil cooling are continuously cooled with water-oil heat exchangers to ensure smooth braking and deceleration. They are also completely closed to prevent pollution and reduce maintenance.
AUTOMATIC DELAY CONTROL (ARC)
Electronically controls the deceleration on a slope to maintain the optimum engine speed and oil cooling. Additional braking can be applied using a manual retarder or brake pedal. ARC also allows the operator to maintain the optimum engine speed to accelerate downhill and improve performance. ARC is automatically activated when the engine speed exceeds pre-set factory levels.
UPPER CONTROL
Automatic modulation of the brake provides smooth running and greater control, allowing the operator to focus on driving.
OPERATOR COMFORT
The operator station AD60 is ergonomically designed to fully control the machine in a comfortable, productive and safe environment. All controls, levers, switches and sensors are positioned to maximize productivity and minimize operator fatigue.
PROTECTIVE STRUCTURE
Integrated in the cab and frame, the rollover protective structure (ROPS) and the falling object protective structure (FOPS) are elastically mounted on the base unit to isolate the operator from vibration for a more comfortable ride.
STANDARD CLOSED CABIN
A standard ROPS cab with reduced sound provides a quiet, safe and comfortable working environment with conditioned air and circulation of fresh, compressed air with adjustable temperature.
CAT COMFORT AIR SUSPENSION
An ergonomic, fully adjustable suspension seat provides optimum operator comfort. Designed to minimize vertical and lateral movement of the operator. Thick cushions reduce pressure on the lower back and hips. Wide retractable seat belts provide a secure and comfortable fit.
STEERING COLUMN
Comfortable wheel with tilted steering provides a comfortable driving position, reliable grip and greater control.
MONITORING SYSTEM
The Cat Electronic Monitoring System (Cat EMS) constantly provides important data about the machine in order to maintain the highest level of machine performance. Illuminated displays for easy viewing.
BODY DESIGN
Cat bodies have optimum strength, load capacity, durability and low cost per ton.
KUZOVSKAYA BOXES
Caterpillar has two body types to meet your requirements:
Body dump truck
Ejector body
The ejector body provides a clean load surge and can be removed and switched using the unloading body for greater versatility of the machine.
SELECTION OF THE BODY
Choosing the right body depends on the material, the road and the conditions of the blade. The better the body is suitable for use, the higher the efficiency. Its divergent design provides a net load surge that maximizes production and prevents material from returning.
BODY / CHASSIS INTEGRATION
Cat Cat bodies are engineered and matched with an integrated chassis system for optimum structural reliability, durability and long service life.
QUICK TIME CYCLE
Single stage lift cylinders provide a fast unloading cycle time: 12 seconds for lifting and 24 seconds for lowering.
LOAD TRUCK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (TPMS)
The additional TPMS system calculates the payload carried by the truck and determines the cycle time of the truck.
FRAME DESIGN
The frame uses a box-section design with rigid frame beams to withstand torsional forces, which increases its service life.
ARTICULATION / OSCILLATING COUPLING
This system provides steering and oscillation and allows the truck to maintain wheel contact with the ground on rough terrain.
ACCESS TO GROUND LEVEL SERVICE
Easy access to daily service points provides convenient maintenance for tanks, filters, lubrication points, chamber drains, and sight gauges to quickly check fluid levels. The possibility of electric fueling and fuel filters with remote control to save time during maintenance
DIAGNOSTICS - CAT ELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN
The electronic control system provides quick engine condition diagnostics and efficient maintenance and repair with Cat ET service tools.
OIL SELECTION SCHEDULE
S · O · SSM helps to avoid minor repairs, becoming large. Sampling point adapters are standard on the machine.
SIGHTS
Makes fluid level checks quick and easy. These include hydraulic, transmission and cooling tanks.
