MAIN STRENGTH
The robust design of the D10T2, which makes repairs and maintenance easier, will help you do more with maximum availability. Customers can rebuild these tractors several times using the same frame with minor repairs.
The D10T2 base units are designed to absorb shock shock loads and torsional forces arising from heavy dosing and rupture operations.
The main body, the equalizer seat and the front cross member are heavy-duty steel castings built into the loaded sections of the main frame to improve stress distribution and increase durability.
The upper and lower rails are made of continuous rolled profiles, providing excellent durability of the main frame.
The main body raises the final gears well above the working ground level to protect them from shock loads, abrasion and contamination.
The articulated shaft and the fixed leveling pin support the alignment of the guide roller frame and allow the roller frame to swing for a smoother ride.
EQUALIZER BAR END PINS
Proper lubrication on work surfaces can significantly extend component life and reduce maintenance costs.
Remote lubrication for the D10T2 is performed from a maintenance point, conveniently located on the left wing, and allows the operator or service technician to lubricate both the left and right end pin bearings and equalizer pins from one maintenance point.
Adding an additional automatic lubrication system allows the operator to adjust the amount of lubricant required for each application in terms of volume and maintenance interval using an information display.
C27 with ACERT technology
The evolution of the D10T to D10T2 is to maximize performance while improving fuel efficiency. The Cat C27 engine with ACERT technology provides power and reliability for maximum performance, high performance and exceptional service life.
The C27 ACERT engine runs at full rated net power (SAE J1349 / ISO 9249), equal to 447 kW (600 hp) at 1800 rpm, with a high increase in torque by 21 percent (in front gear), which allows the D10T2 dispense through hard material.
In combination with a highly efficient torque divider and electronic transmission, the gearbox provides many years of reliable operation.
POWER MANAGEMENT
To help you maximize the material being moved for each drop of fuel, the C27 ACERT engine uses an A4E4 engine controller, which automatically switches engine power settings based on direction of travel.
The D10T2 can deliver a rated net power (SAE J1349 / ISO 9249) of 538 kW (722 hp) in the opposite direction.
By increasing the reversal power by about 20%, you can return faster by reducing cycle time, increasing productivity, and reducing the cost per unit of material.
AIR COOLING
Supplying more cold air to the engine increases energy production, reduces emissions and improves fuel efficiency. • Air-to-air additional cooling on the D10T2 cools the hot, compressed air leaving the turbocharger, providing cooler and denser air in the air intake system.

ALUMINUM BAR PANEL RADIATOR - 6 FPI
The cooling system uses a two-component radiator, built of durable, high-performance aluminum rod plates. The aluminum profile construction provides durability and provides higher heat transfer and excellent corrosion resistance.
HYDRAULIC OIL FOR COOLER
Helping to save on repairs and maintenance, the oil-air hydraulic cooler helps to prolong the life of the components by lowering the temperature of the hydraulic oil.
HYDRAULIC VARIABLES, DEMAND FAN
Customers experience an increase in performance and fuel economy, as well as a decrease in fan noise and engine overcooling using a fan with hydraulically variable demand. Demand fan operates in accordance with environmental conditions. In cooler conditions, the fan rotates at a lower speed; it only consumes the energy needed to cool tractor systems, providing more power for the tracks to help you reduce costs per unit of material being moved.

HYDRAULICS
Fuel efficiency and performance are improved by the field-tested hydraulic attachment system D10T2, which responds to operational requirements by automatically and continuously adjusting the hydraulic power of the attachment. The performance of the tractor is improved, since the hydraulic flow is ensured only when the implement commands are executed. Therefore, more horsepower is available on the tracks to drive the car forward.
Hydraulic load sensors D10T2 have an improved multi-functional interaction, providing improved control over the blade during dispensing, which allows you to effectively move the material.
Dual implement pumps in combination with newly developed valves offer simultaneous bulldozer commands, such as tilt, tilt and lift, as well as simultaneous ripper commands, such as lift and pitch. This functionality improves productivity and increases operator efficiency.
The D10T2 provides unsurpassed rollback efforts with single and double tilt. The machine now has separate tilt valve sections that provide the same lift force on the left and right sides when double tilted.

ELECTRONIC PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (APECS)
It is a key factor in improving performance and switching speeds in the D10T2. The operator will notice increased comfort when switching speeds, which will lead to an increase in operator productivity. Most importantly, the improved shift quality provided by APECS is a key factor in getting all the benefits of advanced automatic switching (EAS).
IMPROVED AUTO SHIFT (EAS)
The standard feature of the D10T2 is EAS. EAS improves fuel efficiency and performance by automatically selecting the optimal combination of gear and engine speed, based on the load on the transmission and the desired travel speed. This feature works like an automatic gearbox. EAS functionality in combination with increased power in the opposite direction will improve performance when backing up to the slopes.
Bidirectional shift
This handy feature helps reduce operator workload. Bidirectional switching allows the operator, simply by making a change of direction, to automatically select the desired front and rear gears or desired forward and backward speeds when the EAS is activated.
AUTO DOWNSHIFT
This feature increases value by increasing safety and productivity during the dosing cycle. If not in EAS mode, automatic downshift can be used to automatically downshift when a significant increase in load is detected, but this feature will not automatically increase gear when the load is reduced. Automatic downshift ensures optimum performance with minimal operator effort. The operator can cancel these automatic switching functions at any time.
MOMENT DIVIDER
A single-stage torque converter with an output torque divider transmits 75% of the engine torque through a converter and 25% through a direct drive shaft to increase transmission efficiency, increase torque and ease of operation.
PLANETARY TRANSMISSION
Three speeds forward and three speeds back using large-diameter couplings and oil cooling.

STEERING COUPLING AND BRAKE
Resistant to fading and without adjustment. Oil cooled multi-disc steering clutches are hydraulically controlled and electronically controlled. The brakes are actuated by springs and hydraulically released for safe and reliable braking. Steering couplings, brakes and final drives can be removed as a single unit on each side of the tractor.
RUNNING
Raised sprocket and outboard suspension work together, increasing traction, creating a smooth ride for your operators. The design with a raised sprocket transfers shock loads to the base unit, so the main gears, axles and steering components are isolated from sharp blows. These benefits lead to increased productivity and longer component life.
The suspension of the trolley allows the caterpillar to match the conditions of the ground, providing 15% more contact with the ground, especially on crossed and uneven surfaces. Higher grip means less slippage, better balance and a smoother ride.
An integrated carrier roller mount is manufactured in the frames of the road wheels, which makes it easy to add additional carrier rollers to the field.
To further enhance durability under maximum workloads, the upgraded roller frames consist of three (3) basic castings that resist bending and twisting. The frame roller improvements also include large rear main pivot pins, redesigned bearing roller mounting platforms, as well as improved main mounting locations for carts.
The caterpillar drive link with single tooth bolts and coarse thread provides excellent reliability and durability.
BULLDOZERS
All blades have a sturdy box construction that resists twisting and cracking. Blades are made of high strength steel that is suitable for the most demanding applications. Heavy blade construction and hardened cutting edges and bolt-on end caps increase strength and durability.
High performance universal blades - provide optimal performance when moving large loads over long distances.
Semi-Universal Blades - Designed for harsh environments where penetration is important.
Dual tilt - allows the operator to optimize the angle of the blade.
Cutting edges and tips - cutting edges made of DH-2 ™ steel. The end caps are made of DH-3 ™ steel for maximum durability in hard materials.
Cat Work Tools offers a wide range of special-purpose blades, including a coal storage blade, dozer blade, a regeneration blade and a wood chip blade.
The Rippers
Rippers are designed for quick penetration into durable material and careful tearing for use in various materials.
Single shank ripper - Designed for harsh conditions and greater depth. The operator can adjust the depth of the shank from the seat using a removable single rod puller. A large opening for viewing the top frame improves the visibility of the ripper tip.
Multi-shoulder ripper - as a rule, for easier loosening conditions in less heavy materials. Provides a high level of performance. It adjusts the tractor to the material using one, two or three shanks.
Deep tooth shank - Optional deep shank ripper for rippers with one or more shanks.
CAPSURE ™ SAFETY PROTECTION SYSTEM FOR TIPER AND REAR REFRIGERANT CAPSURE ™
The tip and shank protection are easily installed using a 180-degree ratchet mechanism. This simple installation means no impact and, therefore, increased safety. It also means faster replacement and less downtime.
REAR CONTRADICTIONS
Rear counterweights provide the tractor with the right balance to maximize dispensing production. Recommended if not equipped with any other rear attachments.
STATION OPERATOR
The cab design of the D10T2 provides ergonomic controls, intuitive monitoring systems and improved visibility. All of the new features in the operator station D10T2 provide the industry leading operator environment that improves productivity, efficiency and comfort.
COMFORTABLE OPERATION
The standard machine provides an operator noise level of 77 dB (A). Lower sound levels are available if additional sound suppression packages are installed.
The Cat Optimized Seat is adjustable in six directions for optimum support and comfort. The side bolsters of the seat limit movement from side to side, especially when working on the side slopes.
The automatic climate control system automatically adjusts the heating and air conditioning control to maintain a constant cabin temperature throughout the day.
WIDE PANORAMIC VIEW
For enhanced safety and performance, the operator station offers an exceptional viewing area.
A conical hood, a gear fuel tank and a narrow ripper carriage provide the operator with a clear line of sight to the front and rear of the work area.
INFORMATION DISPLAY

Automated Blade Assist (ABA) - increases efficiency and reduces the burden on the operator. ABA uses preset blade pitch positions. ABA is standard on the D10T2, if equipped with the optional dual tilt.
AutoCarry ™ (optional) —Automatically controls the blade during the transfer segment in the dosing cycle by measuring ground speed and slip using a robust receiver mounted on the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) chassis. The blade position changes automatically to keep the slide at an optimum level for best performance. It is designed to increase operator productivity in high-performance digging works with distances of more than 30.5 m (100 feet).
Automatic ripper control (optional) - a new feature that reduces operator fatigue and reduces machine wear. This is done by controlling the speed of the tractor using GNSS, mounted on the ROPS, to automatically adjust the engine speed and the depth of the ripper to minimize track slip.

Improvements in engine fuel efficiency:
- D10T2 with the C27 ACERT engine, capable of achieving emission levels equivalent to Tier 2 and Tier II emission standards, improves fuel efficiency by up to 10% compared to D10T performing the same composite duty cycle.
Reducing the noise of the operator and the viewer leads to less noise impact on the communities where they work. The new D10T2 offers an optional sound suppression package that provides an operator’s 74 dB (A) sound level (ISO 6396), and also provides a 111 dB (A) viewer sound level (ISO 6395) with a silenced cab.
