ADVANTAGE OF THE MAIN FRAMEWORK IS BUILT LAST
The robust D9T design, which makes repairs and maintenance easier, helps you do more with maximum availability. Customers can rebuild these tractors several times using the same frame with minor repairs. With unprecedented support from Cat dealers, the Cat large bulldozer can drive more than 100,000 hours.
The D9T base units are designed to absorb shock shock loads and torsional forces that occur during heavy dosing and rupture operations.
The main body, the equalizer seat and the front cross member are heavy-duty steel castings built into the loaded sections of the main frame to improve stress distribution and increase durability.
The upper and lower rails are made of continuous rolled profiles, providing excellent durability of the main frame.
The main body raises the final gears well above the working ground level to protect them from shock loads, abrasion and contamination.
The articulated shaft and the fixed leveling pin support the alignment of the guide roller frame and allow the roller frame to swing for a smoother ride.
TAG-LINK
Installing the Tag-Link blade brings the blade closer to the machine for superior maneuverability, balance of the machine and blade penetration. This design also eliminates the need for a diagonal mount by transferring lateral loads to the base unit instead of the pushing arms of the bulldozer.
EQUALIZER BAR END PINS
Proper lubrication on work surfaces can significantly extend component life and reduce maintenance costs.
Remote lubrication is performed from a maintenance point, conveniently located on the left side of the engine compartment, and allows the operator or service technician to lubricate both left and right end pin bearings and equalizer pins from one maintenance point.
C18 ACERT
A performance with a total rated net power of 306 kW (410 hp), a large working volume and high torque allow the D9T to tear off durable material. In combination with a highly efficient torque converter and electronic gearbox with shifting under load, it will provide years of reliable operation.
ADEM ™ A4 ENGINE CONTROLLER
Controls fuel delivery for optimum performance per liter (gallon) of fuel used. Provides flexible fuel mapping, allowing the engine to quickly respond to application needs. Tracks conditions and maintains engine performance with maximum efficiency.
AIR AIR AFTER COOLING AND AIR
Post-cooling air-to-air reduces the intake air temperature and, in combination with tight tolerances of the components of the combustion chamber, maximizes fuel efficiency and minimizes emissions. A significant improvement in airflow is provided by a water-cooled turbocharger, a unique transverse-flow head and one overhead cam.
FUEL HEATER (OPTIONAL)
Uses engine coolant temperature to preheat cold fuel coming directly from the tank. The fuel heater makes it easier to switch to winter mixed fuel during a season change.
HIGH BENEFIT (OPTION)
Attachments have updated turbocharging and control software that provides full tractor performance at altitudes up to 4,420 meters (14,500 feet).
ALUMINUM PLATE RADIATOR PLATE - 6 FINS PER (FPI)
The cooling system uses a radiator made of durable, high-performance aluminum rod plates. The aluminum profile construction provides durability and provides higher heat transfer and excellent corrosion resistance.
HYDRAULIC OIL FOR COOLER
Helping to save on repairs and maintenance, the oil-air hydraulic cooler helps to prolong the life of the components by lowering the temperature of the hydraulic oil.
HYDRAULIC VARIABLES, DEMAND FAN
Customers experience improved performance and fuel economy, as well as reduced fan noise and excessive engine cooling with a fan with hydraulically variable demand. Demand fan changes speed according to environmental conditions. In cooler conditions, the fan rotates at a lower speed; consuming only the power needed to cool the tractor system, providing more power for the tracks to help you reduce costs per unit of material being moved.
TOOLS
Reversible cooling fan for working with heavy debris at ultra-low speed in cold weather.
POWER
The design of the D9T transmission optimizes performance, and ease of operation helps customers accomplish more tasks at minimal cost per unit.
CONVERTER MOMENT
A highly efficient torque converter with a fixed stator provides high torque multiplication, protecting the transmission from sudden torque shocks and vibrations.
IMPROVED AUTO SHIFT (EAS)
The standard feature of the D9T is EAS. EAS improves fuel efficiency and performance by automatically selecting the optimal combination of gear and engine speed, based on the load on the transmission and the desired travel speed. This feature works like an automatic gearbox.
Bidirectional shift
This handy feature helps reduce operator workload. Bidirectional switching allows the operator, simply by making a change of direction, to automatically select the desired front and rear gears or desired forward and backward speeds when the EAS is activated.
AUTO DOWNSHIFT
This feature increases value by increasing safety and productivity during the dosing cycle. When not in EAS mode, automatic downshift can be used to automatically downshift when a significant increase in load is detected, but this feature will not automatically increase gear when the load decreases. Automatic downshift ensures optimum performance with minimal operator effort. The operator can cancel these automatic switching functions at any time.
HIGH AVAILABILITY
The main powertrain components are modular, so the ability to quickly extract and reinstall a new pre-tested component gives you the ability to support the operation and operation of the dozer.
PLANETARY TRANSMISSION
Three speeds forward and three speeds back using large-diameter, high-capacity, oil-cooled couplings.
Water cooler for maximum cooling capacity.
Forced oil flow lubricates and cools clutch packs, ensuring maximum clutch life.
The modular transmission and bevel gear fit into the rear housing for easy maintenance, even with the ripper installed.
ROTARY TRANSFER WITH DIFFERENTIAL CONTROL
Due to the differential steering, large loads on the blades can be maneuvered smoothly throughout the turn.
Differential steering has the ability to work in hard-to-reach places, providing a narrow turning radius.
Differential steering maintains high turning speeds while maintaining high performance.
RUNNING
A raised sprocket and fully suspended chassis work together, increasing traction, creating a smoother ride for your operators. The design with a raised sprocket transfers shock loads to the base unit, so the main gears, axles and steering components are isolated from sharp blows. These benefits lead to increased productivity and longer component life.
The suspension of the trolley allows the caterpillar to match the conditions of the ground, providing 15% more contact with the ground, especially on crossed and uneven surfaces. Higher grip means less slippage, better balance and a smoother ride.
Roller frames are tubular to resist bending and twisting, with additional reinforcement where there are maximum workloads.
The chassis guard provides additional wear protection against abrasive material to the moving chassis. Includes rubber protective caps.
Sealed and lubricated track with positive pin retention (PPR) is designed for use under high loads and high loads. The Caterpillar design blocks the pin connection, reducing the likelihood of premature loss of lubricant. The sealed design constantly covers the guide axle with lubricant, minimizing metal-to-metal contact and virtually eliminating the wear of the inner pin and sleeve.
BULLDOZERS
All blades have a sturdy box construction that resists twisting and cracking. Blades are made of high strength steel that is suitable for the most demanding applications.
Universal large-capacity blade - maximizes load capacity over long distances.
Semi-Universal Blade - Designed for harsh environments where penetration is important.
Additional double tilt - allows the operator to optimize the angle of the blade.
Cutting edges and butt edges - Cutting edges made of DH-2 steel. End caps are made of DH-3 ™ steel for maximum service life. For extremely heavy duty applications there are wear plates for the forming fabric, tips with a longer service life and cutting edges.
Cat Work Tools offers a wide range of special-purpose blades, including coal storage blades, waste blade, dozer blade, regeneration blades, and wood chips.
The Rippers
Single shank ripper - Designed for tough conditions and greater depth. The operator can adjust the depth of the shank from the seat using a removable single rod puller. Large one-piece shank available in deep gap configuration.
Multi-shoulder ripper - as a rule, for easier loosening conditions in less heavy materials. Provides a high level of performance. It adjusts the tractor to the material using one, two or three shanks.
CAPSURE ™ SAFETY PROTECTION SYSTEM FOR TIPER AND REAR REFRIGERANT CAPSURE ™
The tip and shank protection are easily installed using a 180-degree ratchet mechanism. This simple installation means no impact and, therefore, increased safety. It also means faster replacement and less downtime.
REAR CONTRADICTIONS
Ensure the correct balance of the tractor to maximize the production of dosing. It is recommended if the bulldozer is not equipped with any other rear attachments.
STATION OPERATOR
The D9T cab is designed and equipped to provide performance, safety and operator comfort. Standard insulated cab reduces noise and vibration. The overall operator noise level has been reduced by 2 dB (A). Large windows, a conical hood and a toothed fuel tank provide excellent visibility from all sides of the machine and around the working platform.
The Advisor Monitoring System monitors the working conditions of the machine in real time.
Operators will enjoy comfort features such as the standard Cat Optimized seat, adjustable armrests and automatic climate control. The climate control system automatically adjusts the heater and air conditioning controls to maintain a constant cabin temperature throughout the day. Both the heater and the air conditioner deliver filtered, temperature-controlled compressed air to the operator and / or windows. The system performs five functions: heating, cooling, defrosting, sealing and thawing.
Additional cabin features include:
Finish the entertainment radio and ipod / mp3 player ready
Radio installation
The finishing facilitating cleaning of a cabin
Heated and ventilated seating option
Deep storage
Two coasters
Wipers (intermittent, low and high speeds)
MANAGEMENT REALIZATION AND MANAGEMENT
A single ergonomic handle with knurled roller controls the direction, rotation, forward / reverse and gear selection. Tiller style controls help you work more accurately in cramped conditions.
One-touch throttle toggle switch automatically adjusts engine speed at high or low idling speeds. The operator can press and hold until the desired engine speed is reached, and then release the machine to maintain the new selected speed.
The electronic dispenser control handle with minimal effort gives the operator complete control over all dispenser functions with one hand.
The ripper control knob is located to the right of the operator, right behind the joystick of the bulldozer. The hard-mounted handle provides reliable operator support even when working on uneven surfaces.
INTEGRATED TECHNOLOGIES
It doesn`t matter the job; Whether you work in heavy construction, medium-sized businesses, mines, or landfills, Caterpillar integrates technology and services to increase the efficiency of your workplace. Using data from technology-equipped machines, you will get more information and an understanding of your equipment and operations than ever before.
Auto Blade Assist (ABA) (optional) - increases efficiency while reducing operator workload. ABA uses the preset blade pitch positions for loading, transferring and distributing parts of the cycle. ABA is standard on the D9T, if equipped with the optional dual tilt. Works with AutoCarry ™.
AutoCarry (optional) - automates blade lifting to maintain desired blade loading, improve load consistency, reduce track slip and reduce operator fatigue. Works without problems with Cat Grade Control.
Cat Grade Control 3D (optional) —The system uses two Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) antennas installed on the ROPS, and sensors in the cylinders to ensure accurate positioning of the cutting edge. Three modes of operation — rough evaluation, defense of evaluation, and quality control — provide ongoing ratings.
