DEVICE DESERT
Equip your bulldozer to work in the desert with features ideally suited to ensure machine performance and life in extremely sandy or abrasive conditions. Choose from the following options:
The Precleaner Turbine air intake system prevents virtually all particles that are heavier than air from entering the system, which increases the life of the air filter, increases engine efficiency and reduces maintenance costs.
The doors of the engine compartment are solid at the bottom, which helps reduce the amount of sand entering the engine compartment to improve cooling and reduce cleaning time.
Protected fan and radiator core with a special coating prevents abrasion. The reverse function is disabled on the hydraulic fan.
Sealed bottom shield and additional seals help prevent small abrasive particles from entering the components.
Bottom protection access panels facilitate cleaning without removing the lower protection.
Wear plates can be replaced to extend their service life when working in abrasive conditions.
An air conditioner condenser installed in the cab is recommended for improved system performance and ease of maintenance.
