Caterpillar EARTHMOVING COMPACTOR 825K - catalog of spare parts
Designed for durability, the Cat 825K provides maximum availability over multiple life cycles. Designed and manufactured for optimum performance and ease of maintenance, this durable, powerful machine provides heavy compaction and metering. The automatic shift mode, when it is active, allows the machine to shift up or down depending on the speed and torque of the machine, optimizing performance and saving fuel. The left pedal acts as a brake, gearbox neutralizer and engine retarder to block the engine speed selected by the throttle lock. Operators can slow down when the throttle lock is turned on and return to the throttle lock without pressing the resume or set button. Helps to maneuver around trucks, tractors or other obstacles.

POWERFUL EFFICIENCY
The Integrated Steering and Transmission Control System (STIC ™) improves operator comfort by combining the steering and transmission functions in one lever. Includes finger guided gear selection.
Load sensing hydraulic steering system provides smooth steering at all speeds and engine levels.
Variable displacement piston pumps increase efficiency.
The steering bends at an angle of 43 degrees in each direction, which allows operators to precisely position themselves for convenient work in hard-to-reach places.
Electro-hydraulic control helps ensure quick and predictable control of the unit.
Electronically controlled hydraulic cylinder stops ensure smooth machine operation, reducing operator strain.
LONG TERM VALUE AND LONGNESS
Designed and manufactured from specially constructed structures to remain safe and durable in the long term.
Long-life structures, materials and robotic welding ensure multiple life cycles and the ability to withstand the toughest conditions.
Rear frame full box section resists torsional shocks and twisting.
Reinforced steering cylinder mounts effectively direct the steering load to the frame.
WORKING WITH LESS FUEL
Single-clutch gears (SCSS) for smooth gear shifting and efficiency.
The strategic use of metallurgy and heat treatment ensures the durability of gear wheels.
Torque converter with locking clutch eliminates drive loss, reduces system heating, increases travel speed and increases fuel efficiency.
The Cat C15 engine is designed and tested to meet your most demanding applications.
Two engine options are available to meet Tier 4 Final / Stage IV or Tier 3 / Stage IIIA emission standards. (depending on the market).
Fully integrated electronic engine controls work together with the entire machine so that the fuel moves on.
Turning the engine off at idle speed reduces fuel consumption during periods of idling.
Delayed engine shutdown increases service life.
Optimize seal
The Chevron tip design provides higher ground pressure, greater compaction, excellent grip and a smooth ride.
Compaction is achieved from the bottom of the lift to the top. Conical tips out of the elevator, not "beating" the soil. The upper part of the lift is sealed, and the surface is relatively smooth and airtight, so the towers can maintain high speed when moving along the aggregate.
The 825K travel speed provides four compaction forces: pressure, manipulation, shock and vibration.
This compactor also scatters the filling, potentially reducing the number of spreader tractors needed for the project.
Symmetrical tamping tip ensures uniform sealing forwards or backwards. The tips have a full perimeter and can be replaced.
Two clean rods on each wheel protect the drums from dirt coming back and forth, ensuring maximum efficiency. Cleaning rods are available with standard or abrasive tips depending on the application. The rods are adjustable, and the rod ends are made of heat-treated and hardened steel, which increases their service life.
OPERATOR COMFORT AND CONTROL
The cab under pressure sits on insulating supports, which increases comfort and reduces noise.
The cabin is equipped with a convenient storage box / breakfast box.
The Cat Comfort Series III seat includes a mid-back design, thick contoured cushions, air suspension, adjustable in six directions, as well as a seat-mounted tool rest and STIC steering that moves with the seat for optimal control.
The control panel provides operators with information and controls for safer, time-saving settings.
The simplicity of the STIC control ensures maximum responsiveness and control thanks to STIC, which combines the choice of direction, gear selection and steering in one lever.
PRODUCTIVITY WITH TECHNOLOGY
The Cat seal control system uses Power Drive Power (MDP) technology to measure rolling resistance and relates it to ground stiffness. MDP works on both cohesive and granular soils. An optional 3D mapping system displays compaction measurements at the exact location where the operator works, providing real-time progress and recording of compaction uniformity.
DETECT technologies help ensure the safety of people and equipment by informing the operator about the work area, as well as tracking and reporting unsafe conditions such as warning zones.
COMPACT technologies combine advanced compaction measurement, in-cab guidance and reporting capabilities to help you consistently, quickly and evenly achieve compaction goals with fewer passes.
Cat Product Link is deeply integrated into your machine, giving you access to information such as the location of the machine, hours of operation, fuel consumption, idle time and event codes via the VisionLink online interface. Helps to effectively manage the park and reduce operating costs.
BUILT-IN SAFETY FEATURES
Railings, stairs and non-slip surfaces increase the safety of technicians and operators.
The design always provides three points of contact through service areas at ground level or platform.
A rearview camera with a monitor in the cab boosts operator awareness around the car.
Standard LED warning lights on the cab.
Optional heated mirrors provide improved visibility for safe operation.
Additional LED lights provide excellent visibility of the workspace.
Vibration reduction for the operator due to insulated cab supports and seats, attachments and controls
Low sound level in the cabin.
Sealed cabin with filtered air.
REDUCED ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
Turning the engine off at idle saves fuel while avoiding unnecessary idling.
Reduce waste to the environment with maintenance-free batteries.
Model 825K is designed to restore, which increases the service life of the machine and minimizes the impact on the environment. Get the most out of your investment with our sustainable options, including Cat Reman and Certified Rebuild. Thanks to these programs, recovered components provide cost savings of 40–70 percent, reducing operating costs as well as reducing waste and minimizing the need for raw materials.
TOP TIER SERVICE AND SUPPORT
Safe and convenient service through ground or platform access to daily service points.
Swing doors on both sides of the engine compartment provide easy access to daily maintenance checks.
Ecology effluent for ease of maintenance and spill prevention.
Reduce downtime with VIMS ™ system notifications so operators and technicians can solve problems before a crash.
Inspection markers mean quick visual inspection and minimize fluid contamination.
Swing doors on both sides provide convenient access to daily maintenance points. Lighting the engine compartment contributes to visibility.
The new ground level service area includes electrical shutdown, engine emergency shutdown and a staircase light switch.
