Caterpillar EARTHMOVING COMPACTOR 825K - catalog of spare parts

Designed for durability, the Cat 825K provides maximum availability over multiple life cycles. Designed and manufactured for optimum performance and ease of maintenance, this durable, powerful machine provides heavy compaction and metering. The automatic shift mode, when it is active, allows the machine to shift up or down depending on the speed and torque of the machine, optimizing performance and saving fuel. The left pedal acts as a brake, gearbox neutralizer and engine retarder to block the engine speed selected by the throttle lock. Operators can slow down when the throttle lock is turned on and return to the throttle lock without pressing the resume or set button. Helps to maneuver around trucks, tractors or other obstacles.

Two engine options are available to meet Tier 4 Final / Stage IV or Tier 3 / Stage IIIA emission standards. (depending on the market).

Fully integrated electronic engine controls work together with the entire machine so that the fuel moves on.

Turning the engine off at idle speed reduces fuel consumption during periods of idling.

Delayed engine shutdown increases service life.

Optimize seal

The Chevron tip design provides higher ground pressure, greater compaction, excellent grip and a smooth ride.

Compaction is achieved from the bottom of the lift to the top. Conical tips out of the elevator, not "beating" the soil. The upper part of the lift is sealed, and the surface is relatively smooth and airtight, so the towers can maintain high speed when moving along the aggregate.

The 825K travel speed provides four compaction forces: pressure, manipulation, shock and vibration.

This compactor also scatters the filling, potentially reducing the number of spreader tractors needed for the project.

Symmetrical tamping tip ensures uniform sealing forwards or backwards. The tips have a full perimeter and can be replaced.

Two clean rods on each wheel protect the drums from dirt coming back and forth, ensuring maximum efficiency. Cleaning rods are available with standard or abrasive tips depending on the application. The rods are adjustable, and the rod ends are made of heat-treated and hardened steel, which increases their service life.

OPERATOR COMFORT AND CONTROL

The cab under pressure sits on insulating supports, which increases comfort and reduces noise.

The cabin is equipped with a convenient storage box / breakfast box.

The Cat Comfort Series III seat includes a mid-back design, thick contoured cushions, air suspension, adjustable in six directions, as well as a seat-mounted tool rest and STIC steering that moves with the seat for optimal control.

The control panel provides operators with information and controls for safer, time-saving settings.

The simplicity of the STIC control ensures maximum responsiveness and control thanks to STIC, which combines the choice of direction, gear selection and steering in one lever.

PRODUCTIVITY WITH TECHNOLOGY

The Cat seal control system uses Power Drive Power (MDP) technology to measure rolling resistance and relates it to ground stiffness. MDP works on both cohesive and granular soils. An optional 3D mapping system displays compaction measurements at the exact location where the operator works, providing real-time progress and recording of compaction uniformity.

DETECT technologies help ensure the safety of people and equipment by informing the operator about the work area, as well as tracking and reporting unsafe conditions such as warning zones.

COMPACT technologies combine advanced compaction measurement, in-cab guidance and reporting capabilities to help you consistently, quickly and evenly achieve compaction goals with fewer passes.
