The C18 engine operates at full rated full power (SAE J1995) 429 kW (575 hp) at 1900 rpm. The combination of high displacement and high torque allows the PM200 to achieve maximum performance. The engine power curve is optimized for milling operations, providing optimum power while maintaining maximum engine efficiency. High cylinder pressures combined with tightly controlled tolerances contribute to extremely efficient fuel combustion, reduce emissions and reduce emissions.

MECHANICALLY USED ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BLOCK INJECTOR (MEUI)

The MEUI fuel system is a unique system that combines the technical progress of an electronic control system with the simplicity of direct mechanical fuel injection. The MEUI system has an excellent ability to control injection pressure over the entire range of engine operating speeds. These features allow the C18 to fully control the injection time, duration and pressure.

EXACT DELIVERY OF FUEL FUEL

The temperatures of the combustion chamber are reduced due to the precise formation of the combustion cycle, which leads to a reduction in emissions and optimization of fuel combustion; translating into more work for your fuel cost.

CYLINDER BLOCK C18

The cylinder block is a solid block of gray cast iron with ribbed stiffening ribs and heavy bearing bulkheads for rigidity and strength when turning the crankshaft. This new design supports higher engine compression ratios and increases its power density. Due to the round and round point connections, the loss of engine oil and fluids is reduced.

SERVICE, SERVICE AND REPAIR

Simpler maintenance, maintenance and repair is achieved by monitoring key functions and recording critical indicators. Enhanced electronic diagnostic capabilities are possible using Cat Electronic Technician.

Turbocharger and air-air cooling (ATAAC)

High power with increased response time is provided while maintaining low exhaust gas temperatures for long hours of continuous operation.

AIR COOLING

Post-cooling air-to-air reduces the intake air temperature and, in combination with tight tolerances of the combustion chamber components, maximizes fuel efficiency and minimizes emissions. The new turbocharger, a unique cross-flow head design, a single front-end cam and a more efficient intake manifold provide a significant improvement in air flow, maximizing efficiency and reducing emissions.

ADEM ™ A4 ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULE

The module controls fuel delivery, valve timing and air flow to maximize performance per liter (gallon) of fuel used. The control module provides flexible fuel mapping, allowing the engine to respond quickly to changing application needs. It monitors the state of the engine and the car, while at the same time maintaining the engine with maximum efficiency.

 

PROPEL PUMP

Balanced flow to dual displacement engines on each track provides excellent traction on all surfaces.

LOAD CONTROL SYSTEM (ANTISTALL)

An electronically controlled system selects engine speed for maximum performance. Three load control options can be selected. HIGH for light cuts, MED for medium and LOW for hard cuts.

TWO SPEEDS

The machine works with maximum torque over the entire range of milling speeds or with a higher moving speed to move around the work site.

POSITIVE TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT

Equal flow of hydraulic oil to each drive motor increases tractive effort in difficult cutting conditions. Positive traction control is activated from the operator’s console.

CAT-Wet Coupler

The most efficient and reliable system for delivering rotor power to asphalt. The rotor clutch system has a separate oil pan, pump, filter, clutch control valve and oil cooler to ensure constant cooling and lubrication.

Two cutting speeds

The upper and lower pulleys are easily interchangeable for maximum torque with the toughest materials and different material size requirements.

TWO FORMS OF HIGH STRENGTH BELTS

High-strength belts effectively control the rotor, ensuring a long service life.

ADJUSTING AUTOMATIC BELT VOLTAGE

The automatic belt tensioner with a hydraulic drive prevents the rotor drive belt from slipping and reduces maintenance.

STANDARD ROTOR

The standard rotor provides maximum versatility and maneuverability, ideal for urban applications. 178 point cutting tools. The cutting width is 2010 mm (79 inches). The maximum cutting depth is 320 mm (12.6 inches).

OPTIONAL CUTTER ROTORS

Additional thin-cutting rotors are designed to eliminate wear, improve grip or surface irregularities. Available with 6 mm (0.24 ") or 8 mm (0.31") distance between tools, depending on the application. The cutting width is 2010 mm (79 inches). The cutting depth ranges from 50 mm (1.97 inches) to 80 mm (3.15 inches).

178 TOOLS WITH CLOSED CARBIDES

The tools are mounted in robust, quick-detachable, patented three-part tool holders and arranged as a three-layer rolling for maximum breakout force. Conical quick-disconnect conical tool holders ensure tightness at the base of the holder.

BIG REPLACEABLE CARBIDE LOAD LAMPS

The loading blades effectively move the ground material onto the assembly conveyor, which results in increased productivity and less wear inside the rotor chamber and cutting tools.

OPTIMAL TOOL SPACE

Placing a tool with three trees at the ends of the rotor provides an optimal distance between the tools for cleaning loose material and reduces the wear of the rotor when maneuvering in the section.

OPTIMAL SIZE AND GRADE OF MATERIAL

A hydraulic anti-slab device prevents overlap of the pavement, protects the collector conveyor and provides an optimal discharge opening to the rotor chamber.

The width of the collector conveyor is 800 mm (31.5 ") and is driven by a high torque hydraulic motor for maximum efficiency.

OPTIMAL REDUCTION OF DUST

HYDRAULIC FOLDING CONVEYOR

Transportation of the machine is facilitated by a hydraulically folding conveyor, which reduces the size of the machine.

UPPER CONVEYOR WIDTH

The width of the upper conveyor is 800 mm (31.5 "), and the height adjustment of the front loading conveyor is hydraulically adjustable, and the two cylinders provide 48 degrees to the left and right.

HYDRAULIC PERFORMANCE HANGING (OPTIONAL)

A full canopy with two side retractable wings and front and rear windshields provides optimum comfort and protection for the operator. The canopy can be hydraulically lowered for transportation.

OPTIMAL NIGHT LIGHTING

The working area is effectively illuminated using a set of quick-release fixtures conveniently stored in one of the compartments of the machine.

CONTACT OR Non-Contact Sensors

Sensors that can be located on each side are easily positioned and provide constant accuracy. The cross slope sensor enhances the versatility of the system.

CONTACT WIRE SENSORS

The sensor measures the movement of the side plate, which allows the entire length of the side plate to become an averaging device for extremely accurate slope compliance.

REMOTE CONTROL UNITS

Allows manual or automatic control from the operator station or from ground level. Permanent readings of the rotor depth and cross slope are clearly visible in direct sunlight or in low light.

SOUND MIDDLE SYSTEM

This system has three non-contact level sensors or a combination of one contact and two non-contact sensors that are mounted on the side of the machine. Allows the entire length of the machine to become an averaging device.

FOUR STEERING REGIME

The steering provides four steering modes for maneuvering in confined spaces: only the front turn, the crab turn, coordinated turn, and only the back turn.

HEAVY CUTTING RADIUS

A cutting radius of 2.0 m (6 feet 5 inches) allows precise milling in narrow city streets and dead ends.

Level three - represents the most serious condition, and the machine should be immediately stopped in a safe way.
