RUNNING
The tracked chassis, equipped with reinforced rubber linings, provides excellent stability and weight distribution, minimizing the negative effect of an uneven base. The tension of the track is provided by two lubricating pistons with a shock-absorbing system.
CAT® C2.2 ENGINE
The robust Cat® C2.2 engine delivers ample power and meets EU Stage IIIb and Tier 4 Tier 4 Interim requirements.
AS3143 ELECTRIC SCREEN
An electric heated coupler is powered by an onboard generator with independent temperature control in all four sections. Three heating elements for each section of the screed provide uniform heating throughout the screed plate.
MATERIAL FEEDING SYSTEM
Bins are hydraulically controlled and independently controlled, which facilitates their use near walls or other vertical objects. Asphalt mix is āāapplied to the screed by a powerful steel conveyor and is distributed by two augers with independent control with reversible rotation. Three automatic feed sensors provide the right amount of tie material. The augers can be lifted hydraulically to avoid obstacles, facilitate loading the machine onto the trailer and assemble a group of options for reducing the width of the road surface. Conveyor and augers are reversible.
OPERATOR PLATFORM
The operator leads the asphalt paver from the platform located behind the screed. The console panel is fully equipped with integrated controls that allow one operator to conveniently control all the functions of the machine. The operator platform is equipped with an operator presence detector, which ensures that the machine operates when the operator is in the working position.
PERFORMANCE
The AP255E provides excellent access to all parts of the machine that require scheduled maintenance. Large doors provide quick and easy inspection of major components.
